Account-books ; sales or counter check books; cheque-books.-Part of the original sheet is used for private memoranda, which are not copied on the duplicate, and this part is retained as a cashier's voucher. The duplicate copy of the main part of the sheet is given to the customer. A leaf section C of "original" sheets is attached to the inner end of the cover A, and to the outer end is fixed a block F. A second leaf section D of duplicate forms, perforated at b, is attached to the block, and is supported by a stiff sheet E of the same size as the forms. Above the leaf section is a carbon sheet G, with a flexible paper or other flap J extending underneath it to the perforated edge of the coupon S of the "original" sheet, or to the edge of the part which it is desired not to copy. A binding-strip H is secured by staples c so as to hold the sheets and the block F to the cover A. The margin d of the "original" sheets may be used for carrying forwards the amount of previous transactions. A cover B is hinged to the cover A. The part of the duplicate sheets which is under the flap J may be used for advertising or other printed matter.
