Hay bogies.-In a rick lifter or hay carrier or like apparatus, comprising a platform A mounted on wheels and fitted with a winch B by which a haycock can be hauled bodily on to the platform for transport to the rick, entanglement of the hay &c. with the winch ropes is prevented by means of a board or cover C, which, as the hay is drawn on to the platform, is forced towards and over the winch, being supported by a wheel E running on an inclined rod D and by inclined surfaces F.
