Indicating interruption of flow of liquids; indicating action of pumps.- As a means for showing the circulation in a radiator for cooling water for a motor or other engine, a cylinder A is screwed to the top of the radiator or tank B, and supports a cylinder D, of glass, which is kept securely in position by a disc E and bolts C. Protruding through the cylinder A is a pipe G, which is a continuation of the pipe from the water jacket of the engine. The overflow from this pipe into the radiator is visible through the glass.
