8802. Willis, J. B. April 16. Flywheels and like rotating weighted bodies are constructed of laminations A, B, the centres being perforated, so as to slip on to the shaft. Limbs b project radially from the centre hub a, and are furnished at the ends with horns d projecting, in adjacent laminations, in opposite directions and serving to retain detachable weights on the limbs. Guards for the weights are fitted into dovetailed channels c between the limbs.
