Levels and plumbing-instruments; clinometers.-In an instrument for levelling, plumbing, or indicating angles or gradients, the angle or gradient is indicated on a dial B by an indicator A, carrying a spirit level A1 and clamped in any desired position by a thumb-nut C. The indicator has a slot at the top, of the same width as the lines of graduation.
