Bottles &c.-The lid b of a tin bottle or the like is secured to an arm d, hinged at g to a loop h secured to the neck of the bottle, and provided at the opposite end with a loop e, which engages with a loop f on the neck to secure the lid. The lid is made airtight by a packing of cork &c. A ring i in the loop e serves to open the lid.
