Zinc sulphate.- Apparatus for treating crushed ores and metallurgical products with solutions and the subsequent separation of liquids and solids includes a vessel having an outer wall A and an inner wall B forming an annular zigzag space C, in which separating liquors from a pipe E flow upwards, and ores fed through a preferably rotating hopper G pass downwards. The solutions with finer particles and slimes carried by the current overflow into the internal space D, and flow through the pipe B2 to the first vessel J of the first series of separators. Each separator has preferably a central open cylinder K into which the solutions and slimes are delivered, also a discharge opening L for the settled solids and an annular lip M at the top for the. flow of the solution.
