Groins and the like, beach.-Groins for preventing the erosion of seacoasts and river banks are constructed of intersecting lines of wire fencing or netting as shown in plan and elevation in Figs. 1 and 2, respectively. The posts are embedded in concrete, and the pockets, formed by the intersection of the wires, may be filled with brambles or the like.
