Toboganning.-Relates to an undulating or helical track on which persons slide seated on seats, or the like, and consists in fitting a series of rollers in the track, and in providing means for causing the seats to travel in a direct course. A suitably supported single or double track is used in which rollers C, Figs. 2 and 3, are mounted. The rollers are fitted with metal sockets D with conical holes which are loosely engaged by the conical ends of set-screws D1, secured adjustably in position against the sides of the track by means of nuts. In modifications, the rollers C are freely mounted on a spindle D', Fig. 6, or are fixed to the spindle which is then mounted in bearings in the sides of the track. At the curved parts of the track, conical rollers C are used, and in all cases the rollers C are preferably formed with a central rib c1, which engages guides G, G1, Fig. 7, formed on the seat E, and assists the seat in keeping a true course.
