Belts.-A device. for preventing a child from standing up in, or falling out, of its chair, cot, or perambulator consists of a body harness which is worn either beneath or outside the clothing, and which can be instantly attached to the chair &c: The body straps A, D, which have buckles or buttons a, d at the back, are joined together and to arm loops B by bands E, C. the latter having snap hooks J for engaging loops F carried by straps G, which are fixed to the seat-board &c. H. Some or all of the bands may be elastic, so that, although the child is prevented from rising, movements of the limbs are not impeded.
