Incandescent gas burners.-In order to prevent the flashing-back of the flame of an inverted burner, a sieve b is attached to a hit-and-miss regulating-ring r, so that a chamber is formed by it and the ring. This chamber is protected by a deflector k, and its upper and lower ends may be perforated.
