Camera stands; enlarging; reducing in size; studios; re-touching. - Relates to a studio and photographic stand, and its equipment of easels, retouching-desks or light screens, for enlarging, reducing, or copying photographs. The stand comprisestwo telescopic parts, which may be manipulated from behind the camera by the handle N, Fig. 1; in addition to the notched scales H. J hitherto provided on one side, other scales L, M are provided on the opposite side, the reading commencing with number 3 instead of number 1, so that the reading of the position of the lamp may be read by the front edge of the table Z. The notched scales thus give the distance of the lamp, while the scales L, M give the distance of the lens negative. The difference gives the distance between the lens negative and the lamp, directly and without necessity for calculation. The easel P is connected to the support E or F, as shown in Fig. 2, so as to be adaptable to inclined positions for use as a desk. When' employing a retouching- desk, the easel is folded down horizontally for use as a table in conjunction with light screens J, Fig. 3, and a retouching-desk 3. For studio work, two similar easel boards P, P2, Fig. 4, are fitted with a reversible part 4A, a framework 6, 7, and rods 5 for screens and curtains.
