Parasites, destroying.-A remedy for canker in fruit trees is composed of about 375 grs. of carbolineum, 5 grs. of lead or zinc, 5 grs. of zinc-white, and 5 grs. of copper sulphate. The lead or zinc may be dissolved in HCl or pulverized, and the composition is used as a liquid. After shaking, it is applied by means of a brush &c.
