Concretes; fireproof and sound-deadening coverings and compositions.-A fire-proof and sound-resisting building-composition for making walls, ceilings, &c. consists of gypsum or other suitable fire-proof binding-material, and porous, glassy, and hollow globules of slag produced by the process described in Specification No. 28,256, A.D. 1902, or by other dry methods of granulation.
