Handles.-A device for holding chisels &c, over heated metal or other work comprises a socket a consisting of two parts hinged together at d and terminating in handle portions b, in which are inserted long hazel rods e secured by nails. A ring c is adapted to slide along the portions b to clamp the chisel firmly in the socket a, the size of which may be varied to suit tools of different sizes.
