Fastenings, clip, for connecting the head and foot frames of bedsteads for stowage, exhibition, &c. comprise two thin metal plates having central portions a reinforced by ribs or plates c of wood secured by screws d, and connecting semicircular portions b lined with felt and adapted to embrace the pillars f of the bedstead. The metal plates are connected by a hinge g and may be provided with a clamping-screw h.
