Phonographs &c.-A speed meter or indicator, provided with a dial indicating directly the number of rotations per unit of time of the record disk or cylinder, is driven either mechanically or electrically from the phonograph motor, independently of the ordinary speed-regulating mechanism, so that the machine may be driven at the correct speed as indicated on the record.
