Chimney tops.-A box 1 surmounted by a central tube 4 of smaller diameter than the flue, and also by a number of smaller surrounding tubes 5, which are such that the total cross-section of all the tubes is greater than that of the flue, is placed above a chimney to promote up-draught. The tubes may be surrounded by a cylindrical casing.
