Guards, dress.- In a device for protecting the clothing of cyclists from injury by contact with the sprocketwheel upon the crank-axle, the guard-plate a is provided with lateral arms c, which extend towards and pass through eyes in the lugs of a clamping-ring b upon the saddle pillar, the apparatus being fixed adjustably both in au horizontal and in a vertical direction by means of nuts upon the ends of the arms.
