In gearing for imparting intermittent rotary motion to the work-table of a machine, the driven member consists of two disks A mounted on a pivot and connected by as many pin teeth A1 as there are positions of the table. The driving-member consists of a disk B rotating on a shaft so as that its circumference just fits between two teeth A', thus preventing their movement until the notch B' comes to the first pin A1. To ensure the engagement of the pin with the notch, a tumbler B2 pivoted in the disk B is'turned by a second tumbler B5 operated by the second pin A' so that its hooked end B4 engages the first pin A1. When the pin A1 is leaving the notch, the tumbler B2 no longer restrains it, as' both'tumblers are free.
