Putting on, facilitating. - A p p a - ratus for sterilizing india - rubber gloves, and for facilitating putting them on, comprises tanks 1 in which the gloves are inserted, the wrists being stretched over the beaded edges 16. For sterilization, the tanks are filled with water and heated by lamps 6 or otherwise. The water is run off through taps 5 and a tube 7 to a waste tank 8, and the air pressure in the interior of the tanks is reduced by means of a pump 10 connected to the taps 2, thereby distending the gloves so that the hands may be readily inserted. The vacuum being released, the gloves may be withdrawn from the tanks. Specification No. 4221, A.D. 1907, is referred to.
