Cleansing and abrading compositions; saponaceous cleansing - compositions, materials for making. - Soap, soap powder, borax, soda crystals, soda-ash, carbosil, and other hygroscopic or other powdered substances which are liable to caking are mixed with albosil (a white variety of kieselguhr) to prevent their setting into a solid mass or lumps. The albosil also acts as an abrasive, and, according to the Provisional Specification, may be used for this purpose solely in admixture with ordinary soap.
