Cooking - stoves; supports for articles to be heated.-A camp stove consists of separate plates D, E driven into the ground and forming a fire space, and a surrounding platform A for supporting the cooking-vessels. The air admission apertures are preferably formed by deeply serrating the lower parts of the plates, and one of the plates is cut away at the top to provide a smoke exit beneath a top plate F. A plate C may rest on the ground and form the fuel surface. The platform may be made in two parts clamped together, and is provided with legs G hinged to it and driven into the ground until projections I rest on the surface. The plates D, E may be flat or concaved so as to suit vessels of circular section supported on the platform.
