Fold-engaging files.-A hanging book or like carrier or bracket comprises a single piece of wire a which engages a fold of the book &c. and is bent at the bottom to form a weight-carrying member f at right-angles to the straight part a. The top of the wire is looped to pass through an oval eyelet c at the top of a back-piece b, and be engaged by a suspending cord e. The wire at the bottom is continued beyond the member f to form a T-shaped piece which is passed through an oval eyelet c at the bottom of the back-piece b, to secure the wire thereto and to act as a hinge when a book &c. is being placed behind the wire. Supplementary leaves or cards may be independently attached to the bracket, and more than one wire support a may be mounted on the back-piece side by side or above one another.
