19,577. Brown, T. Aug. 22. R e s p i r a t o r s. - A miner's tea-can is adapted for use as a respirator when breathing in impure air. The teacan H is provided with an air-inlet tube A, and with a combined nosepiece and mouthpiece C, D, which is usually carried in the pocket. When in use, the tube C, D is screwed to the can, as shown, and the cap B is removed. Air inhaled through the mouthpiece D, is washed by the liquid in the can.
