Enlarging, copying, and reducing.-A carrier for negatives and lantern slides, for use in enlarging and like apparatus, is fitted with four flexible screens and with means for drawing them over the negative or slide to mask the picture. The frame a carries four spring rollers b, to each of which is attached a flexible screen c. The other end of each screen carries a pocket or tube c1 through which the operating- rods d are threaded. These rods are moved bv knobs d' and carry pinions e which move over racks f on the frame a. The rods are fixed in any position by clamping-nuts d2, which screw on a threaded part of the rods d. In a modified construction, the flexible screens are fixed at one end to the frame and extend and fold like bellows.
