Stencilling-apparatus. -Relates to a flat stencil-duplicating device of the kind in which the printing is effected by passing an uninked impression-roller over the sheet of paper, which rests on the stencil stretched over an ink bed. The device comprises a frame A on which the bed B, preferably of wood, with a facing of plate glass, is supported. Over the bed is stretched a thin ink-cloth b, held at one end by a bar b1, and connected at the other to an adjustable bar b2 supported by brackets C beneath the frame A. On the ink-cloth are placed a porous sheet E of gauze, muslin, paper, &c., and the stencil sheet D, both being secured at one end by a clamp F. The sheet of paper to be printed is placed over the stencil, and a clean pressure-roller H is passed over.
