Blast apparatus, ejector.-The flow of air, gases, or a mixture of gases and solids is accelerated by withdrawing a portion of the gases &c. from the main conduit a by a fan d and returning them to the same or a similar conduit through a centrally-arranged pipe f at an increased velocity. The apparatus shown is adapted for dealing with furnace gases. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 25,549/01, [Class 51, Furnaces &c.].
