16,555. Mederer, M. July 30, 1910. Rollers, land; cultivators.- Relates to an implement for pulverizing or cultivating the' soil, adapted for use with the plough described in Specification 18,205/10. A number of wheel - like rollers with projecting tines are mounted alternately with distance-pieces on an axle 1, Fig. 2, to the ends of which a bridle 11 for a draught - chain 10 or its equivalent is fixed. The tines 6, Fig. 3, are formed in halves with a recess 9 in each part to embrace the rim 2 of the roller, and the halves are secured together and thus to the rim 2 by bolts 7, 8, the heads of which fit in recesses in the tines as shown. A number of rake teeth 12 are secured to a cross-bar 13 carried by bars 14, 15 pivoted on the axle 1 and provided with handles 16.
