Flame spreaders and deflectors.-A device for concentrating and retaining the heat from gasstove and like burners consists of a lattice-like grid wrapped with asbestos or like fibre so that the central aperture A2 is blocked and the other apertures are partly closed. The bars A' are tapering and the underside of the grid is concave as shown, and feet A4 are provided to support the grid upon a burner.
