Printing-apparatus combined with weighing- apparatus and time - recording apparatus. - Relates to coin-freed apparatus for issuing insurance tickets stamped with the time and date. The various movements of the ticket-issuing mechanism are derived from cams on a shaft 2, which is rotated through half a revolution by a weighing-mechanism after prepayment. The ticket strip is led from a roll 8 through a guide 9 beneath printing-mechanism 12, this mechanism being duplicated so as to print the time and date on both portions of the ticket. Spring- raised platens 22 press the ticket-strip against the type. These platens are operated by arms 26 from a shaft 16, which is rotated by an arm 15 bearing a roller 20 co-operating with a cam 13 on the shaft 2, the roller being mounted on a pivoted member 18 having play between stops on the arm 15 so as to permit the rapid operation of the platens.
