Piles; subaqueous buildings. - Concrete suhaqueous foundations are obtained by driving hollow tubes 1 into soft ground and forcing concrete into the surrounding soil through apertures 4. The tubes are preferably rotated and may be left in the concrete. A modified form of tube with a perforated horizontal foot 8 may be employed, and is raised and rotated as the concrete is expelled through the perforations 9.
