Methylsulphites of aminoantipyrine and derivatives thereof are produced by the action of alkali or ammonium formaldehyde bisulphite upon aminoantipyrine or a derivative thereof substituted in the phenyl nucleus, such as an aminotolypyrine or an aminoethoxyantipyrine. The products are useful in therapeutics.
