Transparency and like illuminated signals.- A device applicable as a cinematograph program indicator comprises a casing with a number of compartments, each containing an electric lamp and closed in front by a transparency plate bearing an announcement. A switch 18 serves to illuminate the top compartment to show the word ' Programme,' a two-way switch 19 selects one of the next two compartments, to show either ' Next picture ' or ' Now showing.' and a switch 20 connects in a rotary switch w, l, which serves to select one of the remaining compartments, by which the titles of the various films are displayed. The rotary switch may control relays for selectively operating the electric lamps or gas-burners with pilot-lights.
