Detachable-rim attachments to wheels.-A detachable rim d is secured between a detachable ring a and a fixed ring b having complementary base portions of equal diameter and formed from metal of uniform thickness. In the forms shown in Figs. 1 and 6, the reduced portion of the felloe is faced with non-corrosive metal f. The ring a may be secured by transverse bolts h, Fig. 1, by hinged clamps h3 and set-screws h5, Fig. 6, or by claw-bolts engaging notches in the off-set flange. Fig. 7 shows a modification in which the ring b with a reinforcing base m is secured directly to the wire spokes l, the ring a being fitted with securing-lugs g, as in Fig. 1. To avoid loose parts, the bolts &c. are fitted with collars k.
