Hand-operated clippers with multiple teeth.- Consists in the combination of a multipletoothed fixed blade 1 with a two-edged single cutter 2 reciprocated thereon preferably by the action of a handle 13 on the lever 8, by which the movable blade is mounted. The motion of the handle is preferably transmitted by means of a pin and slot as shown; and a spring may be mounted beneath the extension 14, Fig. 2, to apply tension to the cutter 2. The cutter may be detachably mounted on the lever 8 as shown in Figs. 4 and 5. Means are described for limiting the throw of the cutter; and the handles may be telescopically adjustable. The pivot 12 is movable as shown. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 3951/73 and 10,294/92.
