Cord files.-A round, flexible, non-elastic, and non - resilient filing - cord comprises a metallic thread, either integral or built up of fine threads, of circular cross-section, surrounded by very fine fibres or fibrous threads running approximately parallel to the metallic core, the whole being tightly bound in a close woven cover and finished with metallic tags at the ends. Specifications 6127/08 and 6973/11 are referred to. Covers.-A cover is furnished with stubs f, f1, and the sides g, g1 have hinges m at a distance from the back n equal to the width of the stubs f, f1. At the hinge m in the side g is attached a cord-concealing strip p having slots s, s1 to receive the cord d, d1 when the strip is tucked under the stub f. In a modification, one of the stubs is dispensed with, and a transparent protective cover-piece or upper stub, recessed at the ends, may be placed over the papers to receive the cord.
