Fluid governors; transmitting-mechanism. - For regulating the pressure of air or gas in mains, a flexible diaphragm responsive to the pressure acts on the throttle or the like of the motor driving the air or gas pump through a frame f moving without friction and supported only on the diaphragm. Removable weights h are used to adjust the load on the diaphragm. A fluid pressure or electric motor may be used.
