Conductors for electricity.-The live rails of electric roundabouts, scenic railways, &c. are made in short lengths to facilitate packing, and the lengths are connected together by a lap joint and coupled to the feeder or supply leads by means of a plate sandwiched between the adjoining ends. The rails are preferably made of wood faced with copper, the copper facing being bent down at the joints, as shown, to permit of the coupling of the conductor to a plate m connected to the supply leads.
