Fastenings for suit-cases &c.-To prevent the lids of suit-cases, attachÚ cases, dressing-cases, boxes, &c. from opening while being carried, a hasp a on the lid passes into a casing b on the body, where it is engaged by a roller c when the case is carried upright, the fastening being automatically released when the case is placed in the horizontal position.
