Moulding in situ.-Relates to the inner moulds for use in casting concrete structures such as silos and cooling-towers. The inner mould b, with the working platform v, is independent of the outer mould, and is supported by a wooden framework a connected to a central post.: The mould boards are carried by wooden bars c, or by metal strips e secured to wooden bars d, the bars c, d being displaced to expand the mould by wedges f, g engaging blocks h, i on the framework a, and blocks k on the mould. The gaps between the mould boards are filled by wedge-shaped boards l. The metal strips e are adjusted to different curvatures by angle bars m, formed with slots to engage bolts n screwing into the bars d, and by screws o mounted in the bars d. The mould is supported on a finished section by bolts p sliding in guides q, r, or is suspended by loops s, or the framework a is connected to a hollow post sliding on a central post t and supported by pins inserted in holes in the central post. Boards are fixed to the framework for supporting the workmen during the adjustment of the mould.
