Antiseptics; lotions; medicinal powders for external use.-A mixture of calcium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, boric acid, and aluminium sulphate is employed as a dusting-powder, or in the form of a lotion, and is stated to evolve sodium hydroxide which destroys bacteria without injuring living tissue.
