8435. Ashton, J. C. April 10. Aprons &c.-Overalls are provided on each side with a slit or opening b and with fastening-straps c. By fastening the belt either in front or behind. the style may be changed to a loose or close-fitting overall either at the back or the front. When worn loose, the straps are passed through the slits and hang loosely inside. When worn close-fitting, the straps may be passed back through the slits and fastened inside. A single long strap may be used in place of two short straps, and be passed throi'gh the slits partly outside the overall and partly inside to give close-fitting back and front effects, and may be worn inside or be removed for the other style.
