Letting-off warps. - In a frictional let-off motion in which a roller or the like bearing on the yarn, as at 18, operates to vary the friction applied to the beam, a weight lever 27 is caused to act on a brake lever 25 through a movable bearing-piece 29, the position of this bearing- piece being determined by an inclined arm 21 operated from the arm 19 carrying the roller 18. A brake shoe 24, or a brake band connected at one end to the frame and at the other end to the lever 25, may be used.
