Reinforced concrete. -A stirrup for use with bars which vary slightly from standard sizes is provided on one limb with a locking-clip c, Figs. 2 and 3, one end of which is formed as a hook to engage the other limb when the stirrup is in the desired position. The clip is .then forced down the tapering stirrup to. bind this on the bar. The stirrups may be inclined to the bars.
