Busks.-To facilitate the trying-on of corsets, detachable lacing - busks d, Fig. 1, have hooks k by which they are engaged in the ordinary eyelet holes of the corset proper. Each busk e, Fig. 3, is covered by a piece of fabric f, which is wrapped round it so as to form a web of treble thickness, the end f11 being stuck down. Outer facing - strips g, g1 are finally attached, and the whole is secured by stitches h. The eyelets and hooks are attached to the web.
