Pulleys.-Relates to pulleys for window openers of the Preston type, in which the boss of the pulley is internally threaded so that, when the cord is operated, axial motion is imparted to the pulley spindle for opening or closing the hinged window. The boss, of brass or other non-rusting metal, is provided with non-circular portions a', over which fit a pair of sheet-metal side plates b connected together by rivets c, so as to obtain the desired form of groove.
