Bronze and colour foils.-Composition colour or bronze or like foils, and composition transfer-paper foils, used for blocking purposes, are coloured in variegation by the application of dyes to the film or coated paper. The colours may be applied by a sponge &c. in the form of blotches and irregular markings; or they may be printed or otherwise applied in patterns or designs &c. Aniline dyes dissolved in spirit or water may be used.
