Fastening strips.-A strip G carrying elements J of push-fasteners is sewn along one meeting edge D of a gaiter or other article of wear, by means of lines of stitches E, F. The resultant pockets are adapted to admit the finger so that it underlies the fastening-element while being pressed into engagement with the complementary element on the other meeting edge B. The pockets open on the side of the strip remote from the edge D.
