716. Tuck, G. Jan. 16. Pictures.-Relates to pictures in relief for use as advertisements, show cards, calendars, toys, &c. The picture 1 is printed or painted on fabric &c., which may be cut to the outline of whatever is to be represented, and this is attached to a carrier or backing 2 by its edges, with the interposition of wadding &c. 3 to give the required relief. The carrier 2 may be attached to a show card or the like. A cover 5 with an opening may surround the picture and overlap its edges, as shown in Fig. 2.
